Looking for a Mint alternative?

Intuit shut Mint down in March 2024 and moved its US users to Credit Karma. If you miss seeing your spending and net worth in one place, Loam does that, without a bank login, and without your data leaving your phone.

What Mint users miss, and how Loam covers it

  • Spending that tracks itself. Mint pulled transactions through bank connections. Loam files each charge from your bank’s text messages, on the phone, into the right category.
  • Budgets. Set needs, wants and savings once and follow the month against it, with per-category analytics over the last five months.
  • Net worth. Cash, deposits, stocks, crypto, gold, property and loans, priced live and totalled in your currency.
  • More than Mint had. Runway, and a 5 to 20 year forecast in today’s buying power.

What is different

Mint was mostly free because it showed you offers. Loam has no ads, no offers and no tracking, and costs $30 a year after a 30 day free trial. Mint stored your data on Intuit’s servers; Loam has no server and no account. Mint was for US and Canadian banks; Loam works wherever your bank sends texts.
